HCRW’s delegation to the AFRW Biennial Convention held in Prattville, AL in October, 2017 once again brought home HCRW’s DIAMOND AWARD from the National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW).

As you know, the Diamond Award is the highest level of achievement in the spectrum of Club Achievement Awards. It is designed to encourage and recognize teamwork among members of each club. Using the Awards requirements gives us a guide for planning club activities to produce a well-balanced club program, including State and National Republican goals. It establishes standards of performance for club functions, membership development, programs, campaign activities and community relations. Applications for this award are reviewed by AFRW and, if approved, AFRW submits to NFRW for award consideration.

We are very pleased and proud to have received a NFRW Diamond Award. Congratulations to all for a job well done!
Now we move along to the new awards time period – July 1, 2017-June 30, 2019. You will have many opportunities over the next few months to generate volunteer hours while working for your favorite candidate(s). And note those hours that you accumulated during November and December, 2017 doing such things as “Ringing The Bells” for the Salvation Army or making telephone calls, etc. during the special election. Remember to jot down those hours and report them at the HCRW meeting.
